Our Camperdown facility serves as the operational heart of NewGenex. Located right on the Princes Highway in southwest Victoria, it houses our administration team, storage operations, and import/export services. But what really sets this place apart is what happens in the collection centre.

We’re the only facility in Australia that holds both EU and Chinese accreditation for semen collection – and that’s not just paperwork. These accreditations mean meeting some of the strictest biosecurity standards in the world. Every bull that comes through our gates undergoes comprehensive health testing. The security protocols? They’re rigorous because they have to be. One slip-up could cost us access to international markets that took decades to establish.

The geography here works in our favour too. Sitting south of the Great Dividing Range gives us a natural advantage – the range acts as a barrier against arbovirus vectors. That means we’re free from Akabane, Aino virus, Ephemeral fever and Bluetongue. Add that to Australia’s official freedom from TB and Brucellosis, and you’ve got ideal conditions for producing genetics that meet international standards.

We’ve also got the Sexing Technologies Victorian lab operating on-site. They run collection programs that meet OIE requirements – whether the semen’s destined for a farm down the road or halfway around the world. The same exacting standards apply.
